Two days before they were to return to Edmonton – it was a 2 week vacation – Jerry and his friend ended up sitting right next to Connie and her friend.  Before you knew it, they were chatting and ended up spending the day together.  The funny thing is they were both from Edmonton and both on the same chartered flight.  That was the start, and within two months the two were engaged!

Three years later to the day, March 29, 2009, Connie and Jerry were married on the beach of the resort where they met.  It was a wedding and a family vacation!  Why?  Because as it turned out Jerry has custody of three lovely children, Marissa 14, Jessie 12, and James 10.  You can see them in the wedding party.  Just so you know James was not beaten, those are broken blisters under his eyes.  It was difficult getting all three to apply the sun screen regularly...Oh well.  

Now they are one big happy family…dad, mom, three kids, a dog and a cat.   Connie and Jerry look forward to a long, healthy life together.  Thanks for taking time to look at their photos!
